Koalas - cute as can be! Swarovksi Crystal Koala Bear Mother and Baby have joined the Silver Crystal theme group, Rare Encounters. The Swarovski Mother Koala Bear is featured in clear faceted crystal while her offspring, the baby koala, is featured in Golden teak crystal. A matt crystal base supports the Swarovski Mother Koala cradling her little one. As these charming creatures consume up to 500 grams of eucalytpus leaves each day, it might help to explain why they spend almost two thirds of their day napping. These Australian Koala bears, discovered by Europeans over two hundred years ago, have been admired and adorned for their cuteness by all age groups.
